We've invested heavily in the latest and greatest paintball equipment to make your experience as stress-free and enjoyable as possible.
Take a look at some of the unique offerings we have at Edmonton Paintball Centre! All of the equipment below is included in our packages.
The most important piece of safety equipment when it comes to paintball!
We only use high quality anti fog masks.
All masks are throughly cleaned, inspected and disinfected before each use.
Why don't we give every person a brand new mask they can keep like some other fields? Simple: to really enjoy paintball, you need a high quality mask. Our masks are expensive, but worth every penny. We'd have to double our prices to be able to give everyone a mask to take home. Or, we'd have to use cheap, low quality 'disposable' masks. That's not something we're willing to do.
Paintball Marker (Gun)
While the industry doesn't call them 'guns', that's what most people know them as.
We use the industry standard Tippmann 98 Custom or BT-4 Combat. They're both a high quality semi-automatic paintball marker known for their reliability and consistancy.
Each marker comes with a 200 round hopper and a High Pressure Air tank to propel your paintballs.
Every player is issued with a pair of freshly laundered camouflage coveralls to protect your clothes and help you avoid detection by the enemy!
Our coveralls come in all sizes, from Child to Adult XXXL. They also include a built-in neck protector.
We designed our coveralls and had them custom manufactured just for us. We think you'll find them much better than a dirty old pair of ex-oilfield coveralls with "Dave" on the chest..!
There's nothing worse than not being able to tell whether the person in your sight is a friend or foe.
That's why we issue every player with brightly coloured arm bands to allow everyone to see what team you're on and whether they should be shooting at you or with you!
Often over-looked, gloves are an important piece of equipment.
Your hands are almost always exposed when holding your paintball marker, so it makes sense to protect them.
Unlike some fields who charge extra for gloves (or even make you buy them!), we provide gloves for free to every player.
Chest Protector/Body Armour
Although not strictly a required piece of equipment, some players feel more comfortable with an extra layer of protection.
Chest Protectors are available for free on a first-come first-served basis, with priority given to children and then ladies.
Purchased an extra 300 paintballs? You get free rental of a 300-round belt pack to store your spare ammunition.
Designed to hold three 100-round pods, the belt pack allows you to carry more than enough paintballs onto the field, ensuring you can fight through even the most intense battles!
Own all your own equipment? Awesome!
You're welcome to use your equipment at Edmonton Paintball Centre, but there's a few things to be aware of:
For most of our sessions, we limit markers for around 220fps. We have a chrono station in the staging area that you're welcome to use. You must have the tools and knowledge required to adjust your own marker.
You must be able to demonstrate to the Group Leader that you're shooting at an acceptable speed. Anyone caught 'shooting hot' will immediately be asked to leave and will receive no refund. You could also potentially be banned from the facility.
Air and CO2
We have both compressed air and CO2 available at no additional cost.
Our facility exists for people to have fun. We're a non-competitive facility, hence why we don't have leagues, etc. For this reason, we caution equipment owners to ask themselves if they should be using their own equipment.
What do we mean by this? If you're playing on an owners walk-on night or with a group of other owners, then yes, go ahead a use your own gear.
But if you bring a group of non-owners and they're using rental equipment, consider also using rental equipment. Playing paintball can be intimidating for new players, and this is only made worse when they see a serious player getting kitted-up and filling his power loader that's fitted to his $900 electronic marker capable of 25 balls per second.
You want your friends to come back and play with you again (we assume!), so scale back the macho'ness, use a rental marker (there's no cost difference) and make sure everyone has an awesome time!
